BACKGROUND
Isabelle Kelly is an Australian rugby league footballer who plays for the Sydney Roosters in the NRLW Women’s Premiership. She is an Australian and New South Wales representative and plays primarily in the centres.
Kelly was born in Gosford, New South Wales, in 1996. She began playing rugby league at the age of 12 and quickly rose through the ranks.
Kelly is a highly talented and versatile rugby league player. She is a strong runner with good ball skills and a powerful fend. Kelly is also a good defender and has a knack for scoring tries. She is a key member of the Sydney Roosters and the Australian team and is sure to be a force in the women’s game for many years to come.

PLAYING CAREER
In 2016, she made her debut for the Central Coast Roosters in the NSWRL Women’s Premiership. The following year, she was selected to represent New South Wales in the inaugural State of Origin match. Kelly scored a try in the match, which New South Wales won.
In 2018, Kelly was named the NRLW Rookie of the Year. She also made her debut for Australia in the 2018 Women’s Rugby League World Cup. Kelly played in all three of Australia’s matches in the tournament, scoring a try in the final against New Zealand.
Kelly continued to impress in 2019, winning the NRLW Player of the Year award. She also captained the Central Coast Roosters to the NSWRL Women’s Premiership title. In 2020, Kelly was named the NSWRL Women’s State of Origin Player of the Year for the second consecutive year.
In 2021, Kelly joined the Sydney Roosters. She was named the club’s player of the year and helped the Roosters to win the NRLW premiership. Kelly was also named the NRLW Captain of the Year for her leadership and on-field performances.
