Great product. Great taste and great protein content. I can’t seem to get the macros to add up to the total calories. Where is the extra?
Team Musashi –
Hi Steve,
Thanks for your query. Typical calorie calculations are based on Protein + Carbs + Fat however in this case Glycerol and Maltitol actually do have a calorie contribution in addition to the three primary macronutrients.
Hope that answers your query. Enjoy!

Such a convenient way to get my protein in after workouts. Chocolate brownie and salted caramel taste quite similar but are by far my faves. So delicious! I usually break the bar into two serves. Will definitely buy again (on sale)

yep very good but mix up the diferent bars as its is boring eating the same flavour for each meal

Love the taste I have a least one a week or more. Can you please let me know what is THE TOTAL CARB? I know the net Carb is 1.7 g per bar but when I scanned to my carb manager App it tell me it contains 22 g of Carb which is quite high if someone on Keto diet
Team Musashi –
Hi Hanan,
Thanks for the question.
Carbohydrates expressed on the label are 1.7g per bar based on Australia & New Zealand regulations. In overseas terminology the total carb content usually includes some sugar alcohols and fiber (whereas in Australia and New Zealand, these are not considered carbs). Calculating net carbs using the overseas terminology by adding some sugar alcohols back into the total = 22.3g per serve. Hope that helps
Thanks,
Team Musashi

Taste great, a bit chewy but not so much that it’ll lose a star in this review. I always pick up a cookies and cream flavour bar at my local Coles.

Best protein bar there is 45 g protein and really low carb especially the salted caramel.

I credit 30kg of weight loss over 4 months in large part to a dark chocolate salted caramel bar after dinner each night. At 377 calories it’s a big chunk of 1600 cals a day, but it’s weirdly filling, you feel like you’re having a meal while chewing it and can spin it out for ages because unlike the sweeter (tho still low sugar) ‘deluxe’ bars, they don’t trigger a frenzy! I’m up til 1-2am most nights and I never get hungry again, and knowing that’s how my night will end helps me eat LESS during the day. Looking forward to a treat really kills your appetite.
I absolutely swear by HIGH PROTEIN and especially dark chocolate salted caramel. Fantastic. THANK YOU MUSASHI 🙂
